In 2009, the Government of Gujarat passed the resolution and invited applications from various Industrial Houses/Companies, Private Educational Trust/Organisation to set up technical institutions in the state under Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. Under this scheme, Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), Gandhinagar has been scrutinised by the Government of Gujarat as a partnering organization to develop the technical institutions in the state.
GIDC constituted the education society, namely GIDC Education Societyâ and has been registered as Society under the Society Registration Act 1860 under Registration No. GUJ: 1769: Gandhinagar dated 14/07/2010 and also registered as Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 vide Registration No. F: 1723: Gandhinagar dated 14/07/2010.
