Settled in the heart of the North Gujarat region, and surrounded by a verdant 5-acre land within 300 acre campus of the of Ganpat University, The Ganpat University- Shree S.K.Patel College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (GUNI_SKPCPER) was set up in 1996 and is recognized as a premier institute of Gujarat and ranked among top 100 on all India basis consecutively for past few years in NIRF ranking. Apart from the approval of PCI and AICTE, the institute has achieved the distinction of being the First College in the Gujarat state Accredited by NBA-AICTE for its B.Pharm programm as early as in 2003. The college offers PG programmes, in specializations like, Quality assurance (since 2003), Pharmaceutics (since 2003), and M.Pharm. Pharmacology (since 2003). We also offer PhD programme in Pharmacy. College has blend of young and experienced pool of talented and qualified faculty members as per PCI norms, expert in novel teaching technologies and capable of imparting the pharmacy education in best possible manner. The faculty and researchers of our institute work on research projects of industrial and national relevance and the outcomes are being recognized by high impact international publications, presentations, and patents. Students and Faculties attend Seminars, Workshops & Conferences as a part of continuing education at the national and international level.
The college is housed in a building that is an architectural splendour constructed with a futuristic vision, specifically designed to suit the requirements of pharmacy education with amenities like18 ultra-modern laboratories, administrative area, modern classrooms and tutorial rooms, auditorium, a rich Library with Wi-Fi network, and Animal House totalling a built-up area of 9250 sq. meters. This is only college in Gujarat having on-premises Drug manufacturing facility approved by Gujarat-FDCA for oral solid and liquid section, where students get real time exposure of pharmaceutical industry functions. Further, the college campus offers a residential facility for students and staff, central dispensary, sports complex, open-air theatre, central canteen, guest house, and shopping supermarket.
The College is continuously striving to provide the globally competent pharmacy professionals aligned with the vision of our Chief Patron – Hon. Shri Ganpat Bhai Patel, our founder President – Hon. Late Shri Anil Bhai T. Patel and esteemed trustees.
