Navrachana University (NUV), a UGC approved University, established through the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009. Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D. programs of NUV are approved and recognized by various statutory and professional bodies such as Council of Architecture, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and Bar Council of India. With the intent to offer quality education that befits the high educational standards of the Navrachana Educational Society in Vadodara, the University has embarked on a new educational paradigm that lays simultaneous emphasis on both disciplinary education and interdisciplinary education as well as professional education and general education. This paradigm is facilitated by the University's unitary character that offers comprehensive learning and helps develop T-Shape students who have a breadth of knowledge though general and interdisciplinary education and a depth of knowledge though focused disciplinary education. University aims at contributing to the overall development of students and thereby contributing to the development of Nation by identification of thrust research areas and academic programs, burgeoning technological competence, develop-ment of generic, application and life skills, value inculcation through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities with pursuit of excellence and community engagement. The University is spread over 4,79,857 sq. feet beautifully landscaped. Trees and lawns make the environment campus Navrachana University has distinctly green. state-of-the-art Computing Labs, High Quality Technology and science Labs, Q Lab, IOT lab and different labs catering to specific types of programs and courses. With more than 43 ICT enabled classrooms, well-equipped lecture halls with projection technology, Wi-Fi access campus, multimedia studio, Library, Amphitheatre, High-technology science and engineering labs, computer Lab with high end devices with appropriate softwares including CAD/CAM-AutoCAD, Creo & Ansys and Matlab, Auditoriums, Moot court, Cafeteria area, computer labs, Gymnasium, Outdoor playground, in-house sports room, canteen and hostel facilities. NUV offers more than 14 Undergraduate, 10 Postgraduate, 2 Integrated full-time programs and Ph.D. on the campus. All Educational Programs follow modular, semester-wise curricula and allow taking courses that cut across program boundaries. The unitary character allows the University to innovate new educational and pedagogic models grounded in interdisciplinary thinking and capitalize on the shared infrastructural and educational resources, to achieve a rich academic and life experience.
