An Alumni association or alumnae association is an association of graduates or, more broadly, of former students. It is sometimes called an “alumni meet“. These associations often organize social events, publish newsletters or magazines, and raise funds for the organization. Many provide a variety of benefits and services that help alumni maintain connections to their educational institution and fellow graduates. Additionally, such groups often support new alumni and provide a forum to form new friendships and business relationships with people of similar backgrounds. Alumni associations are mainly organized around universities or departments of universities, but may also be organized among students that studied in a certain country.
- To provide a platform for Alumni to connect with the institute and assist recent graduates and current students in shaping their careers.
- Bring old students of Laxminarayandev College of Pharmacy under one forum for the exchange of experience, dissemination of knowledge, and talents amongst its members of the Association.

- Hold periodic alumni meetings at local, regional, national, and international levels at the college and batch level and publish the activities of the society.
- Generate funds for the development and betterment of the university and also for the promotion of the objectives of the Association.
- Render consultations or provide services to industries associated with past students in the field of technical know-how, standardization, testing facilities, and in such other fields related to engineering.
- Enhance, modernize, and upgrade the existing facilities at the institute with the help of past students. Make available industrial training, placement, and other facilities to the present students with the help of past students in various industries.
- Grant scholarships to deserving students and arrange to provide loans and other monetary and non-monetary assistance to deserving students of the Institute for higher education
- Encourage educational, cultural, fundraising, sports, and such other activities as the Governing body may deem fit in furtherance of the objects.
- Conduct seminars, conferences, workshops, endowment lectures, and other academic activities. Also, keep in touch with one of the University faculty, non–teaching staff, and students.
- Render financial aid to deserving poor students studying at the institute.
- Organize cultural and educational programs and also conduct Alumni Day celebrations every year.
- Help the Alumni to get advice from the institute on various technical problems and job opportunities that they may come across in their work and real life.
